Relics of the Nile is pleased to present his wonderful twin-handled Egyptian alabastron. The alabastron is nicely banded and well-sculpted with a cylindrical neck and disc rim. The alabastron is presented on a custom base for easy display and measures 3.25" in height (3.7" tall including the base". Egypt, Late Period ca 664 - 350 B.C..

The figure has nice facial features with some black cosmetic details remaining and a well-carved osiris beard. While the pigment has been lost throughout the piece there are still traces of the broad collar and vertical column that originally likely contained hieroglyphics showing the name of the owner. A red sandal strap crosses at the top of the foot and runs between the toes. The original dowel still exists on the back of the foot that connected it to the larger statue. Horus' side lock is presented in excellent detail with his right hand to his mouth. This bronze has an absolutely choice olive patina with very little wear.
