An Islamic-style terracotta oil lamp discovered on the Arabian Peninsula and dated ca. 900 - 1000 AD. The clay is an orange color and the lamp was mold made. It measures 9.35 cm and has a chipped tongue handle. The flat bottom has a base composed of five circles. A sharp ridge runs around the filler and wick-holes forming a channel on the nozzle. A nicely decorated Islamic-style terracotta oil lamp excavated in the Arabian Peninsula and dated 8th - 9th century AD. The clay is an orange color and the lamp was mold made and measures 9.85 cm. A light earthen encrustation covers the entire lamp and some carbon residue is to be seen around the wick-hole.
