Ancient Russian Icon from circa 1800's painted on a large wooden panel. Colourfully painted with scene of a central cloaked figure of the Virgin Mary. She is flanked by candle bearing congregants and priest. Both Mary and Joseph are in the foreground, all wearing gilt halos. Some gold lettered writing throughout; all Slavonic Russian text.
