Roman Bronze Gladiators Dagger Hilt, 1st - 2nd Century CE. (Two Parts Not Belonging) Ancient pastiche of Gladiator's bronze dagger topped with icon blade. Eagle and a duck's head motif. Iron blade of sword is rusted and pitted but in tact. Eagle hilt in excellent condition. 15 1/2 inches high with custom stand. Ex: For example of Eagle / Duck chariot fitting see Christie's South Kensington, November 06, 2002, Sale 9482, Lot 107.
