Lovely mouldmade lapm made of red clay with red slip. Convex lower part, flat top and depressed disk with the image of a Kantharos and vine. Channel running between the disk and nozzle. There are circles interchanged with squares on the shoulder and a tongue style handle at rear. Only one fill hole present and in great condition. Measures 5.5 inches in length.

Here you find a mouldmade ancient oil lamp. Convex lower part and flat top. In concave disk, a vertical figure of a bird most likely a dove. There is a channel running from the rim to the top of the flat nozzle. On the shoulder we find a vine like pattern. Slight carbon traces and growth deposits still present. Measures 6 inches in length.

Another well constructed mouldmade ancient Roman oil lamp. Made of red clay and slip or 'red slip" these lamps were mostly produced in North Africa (most likely Tunisia) during the 4th century.
