Ancient Phoenician Terracotta Head for the God Ba'al
This is a very nice and detailed head from a statue of Ba'al, the Phoenician God of the Sun. Ba'al is a Semitic title and honorific meaning lord that is used for various gods, spirits and demons particularly of the Levant.

This piece is mounted to a permanent plinth. With the plinth, the whole piece measures 3.75" tall.

This piece is consigned from a very reputable collection. Provenance provided to purchaser.
