This is a fine, Roman bronze finger ring.
Condition: Intaglio is missing to antiquity, and the band is cut, as seen. However, this piece has a fine, even green/brown patina and is still very wearable. Dates to 200 AD. This ring is very wearable. Would make a wonderful conversation piece. The inside diameter of the ring is 15.87 mm. Using my sizing chart, this ring is Size J1/2 (UK), Size 50 (Euro), Size 5 1/2 (US). Provenance provided to purchaser. |
