This is a fine little flask used in ancient times to hold and dispense perfume or scented water or oils.
Measuring 11.5 cm tall. Condition: One tiny chip to the outside of the rim. Otherwise choice. Good adhesions and evidence of age. Dates to the time of King Herod the Great and Jesus, circa 100 BC - 100 AD. Provenance provided to purchaser. |
