This fantastically rare object typifies this highest standard of faience production. This is an exceedingly rare colour of faience from the Amarna Period, circa the reign of Akhenaten - 1353-1336 BCE. The piece measures 13.8 mm. This is a small, floral bead, which was originally an element in a large, pectoral necklace. Condition: Pristine, choice and intact. Nothing repaired or restored. Provenance provided to purchaser. |
