| From the Sinu horizon of Colombia and dating c.400-1600AD, each of the 30 carved shell pendants or beads in this group (94.183HD) have been reinforced with a custom silver brace to protect it from damage. Ranging in length from 2 ¾” to 3 5/8”, all 30 beads could be arranged on a necklace, or used individually or in small groups in pendant arrays, the patterns of which are limited only by the beader’s imagination. Note silver bale for stringing in the side view of one of the pendants. In very good condition, the lot comes with a small display card, a map of Colombia on which is highlighted the Sinu cultural area, and our certificate guaranteeing authenticity. | |||||||
