| Each of the individually priced Old World antiquities in this group of twelve (97.289HD; 100.57BE, 182C, & 38AHD; 101.8AAHD; 102.8HD; AXH 1916-1918, 2345, & 2459) is either mounted with soluble glue, a string, or stapled in a small mylar bag to its own display card. A brief description of the item is followed by its price, along with its unique number. Represented are: ancient Roman bone Astragali (a form of dice utilitizing the ankle bone of a sheep); ancient Sassanian ring seals; Roman glass amulet; a Sumerian amulet; a Neolithic ‘bille’ found in Mauritania; a Roman bone arrowhead; and an ancient jasper cylinder seal from Afghanistan. Five of the pieces are from the Dr. Allen Heflin collection, the balance from other collections and dealers.
