A Byzantine bronze bell discovered in Israel and dated ca. 500 AD, the Early Byzantine Period. The bell measures 2.2 cm and a dark green patina covers the item. There is also a dirt encrustation and the clapper is missing. There is a small hole in the body and shipping is free. This bell is in very fine condition. At the time this bell was manufactured there were millions of bronze articles being made for private citizens, the government, merchants and the military.
