| Relics of the Nile is very pleased to present this outstanding ancient Egyptian cartonnage fragment. This fragment depicts two baboond (incarnations of the god Thoth) in profile from left to right presented in brilliant colors of red, yellow, black, purple, cream, white, green, and brown. Thoth also took the form of the Ibis and is perhaps most famous for his appearance in the final Jugment scene in the Book of the Dead as a scribe.
