Superb Egyptian Ushabti With Glyphs! 664 BC!

Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this superb ancient Egyptian ushabti with T-Style glyphs. This example is completely intact with a bright ancient blue faience glaze remaining. The glaze is very thick. The glyphs on the front are in the "T" Style and have not yet been translated. The glyphs are very clear and the faience is very thick. The face of the ushabti including the Nemes headcloth is in brilliant condition. The hands hold the sulk and hoe, which would have been used to do the work in the afterlife. This style was very popular during this period. The back pillar also dates this ushabti to the 26th Dynasty (664 - 525 B.C.). The piece remains completely intact with no restoration. A wonderful large piece that measures 4.5" in height and makes an impressive display.
