| This is a magnificent ancient Egyptian Ushabti. This piece is in SUPERB condition, with a stunning green/blue original glaze remaining. The facial features on this piece are in incredible condition, and they are all clearly identifiable. Much more than the picture indicates. The face, eyes, nose, ears, false beard, and hands crossed mummiform over the chest are all clear to this piece and are visible in the finest detail! The piece is a very significant 3 1/8" TALL. This ushabti features a very thick, smooth, and elegant original green glaze. Intact and unbroken, this is a very rare original specimen. This ushabti is one of the finest display pieces available (excluding stand), with an outstanding "ROYAL" Egyptian blue coloring. This piece was owned by someone with high status, since blue was difficult to acquire. Only those with wealth could afford it. It was loved and represented the color of royalty.In excellent condition, and its size is one that will display very well. | ||
