Nice Greek Alabastron. 4th-3rd Century B.C.

Relics of the Nile is proud to present this superb Greek alabastron. This piece is beautifully formed with a conical body and a tremendous upper-segment in a contrasting brown color. This piece is composed of alabaster and was executed with great skill. There is some minor professional restoration to a portion of the piece that does not detract. This piece originally held ritual oils. See the photographs for a better view into the center of the piece, which measures nearly 4" in height (3 7/8"). Greek, 4th - 3rd Century B.C.
