| Relics of the Nile is very pleased to present this superb ancient Egyptian panel. This panel is from the capital of an ushabti box. The piece comes from the famous capital that adorned the top of the shrine formed shabti, or Ushabti, boxes during the Late Period in ancient Egypt. This panel features the peg and a peg hole that originally attached this piece to the box. The panel is painted in outstanding red, black, and cream colors that still remain extremely vibrant and without restoration. The panel measures an impressive 5.5" in length and 2 1/8" in height. A nice addition to any ancient Egyptian collection that provides an affordable alternative to sarcophagus panels. Egypt, Late Period, 664 - 50 B.C. | ||
