You are considering a unique and museum quality ancient full handled bronze sword from the Bronze age Persia, dating to around 1200 - 800 BC

It has a prominent raised mid-rib terminating proximally into the open loop of a "C".
Short swords such as this would have been used by the Persians in their battles with the Greeks in their aspiration to gain control of the Middle East.

Measurements: Length: 35.5 cm - Width: 4.5 cm -Height on stand: 38 cm

Excellent archaeological condition, not repaired and not restored with beautiful patina.

The sword is mounted on a custom lucite display stand of high quality.
