A very attractive ancient persian bronze axe head, nicely decorated with engravings and spikes

Dated from, 800 BC

Short swords,daggers and axe heads such as this would have been used by the Persians in their battles with the Greeks, in their aspiration to gain control of the Middle-East

This fantastic weapon has survived Intact and Untouched. It is aerodynamic, and enjoys a gorgeous green patina and age related encrustation

Dimensions: Length: 14.5 cm - Height: 5 cm - Height on stand: 13 cm

Professionally cleand and mounted on a plexi-glass display stand of high quality

Condition: Front part of the axe blade is missing as excavated since they used to break or bent the weapons after the battles
