From the central/south coast of ancient Peru, ca. 600 - 900 A.D. Including a multi-color, finely-woven example having an overall abstract anthropomorphic and zoomorphic decoration (missing string tassels and ends). 16"L x 2-3/8"W, wear along edges plus a few small holes, but still a very nice example. Together with another band decorated very similarly, with string tassels at each end. 17"L (not including strings), all there, but appears to have been washed which accounts for its faded colors and losses.
