Ancient Greek Lekythos from southern Italy, Apulian region, ca. 4th century B.C. In miniature form, typical oil pouring vessel with a squat, bulbous body, tapered neck, flaring spout and a flat strap handle. Areas of pretty iridescence. 2-1/2" H, intact/excellent and a very rare form.
