Here you find a rare blackware ringed askos from Magna Grecia (modern day southern Italy). This ancient artifact has trumpeting spout and strap handle and hollow ring type base. It is intact and in excellent condition said for some loss to the metalic glaze. This ancient Greek ceramic dates to approx. the 3rd century B.C. and measure 5 5/8” in length.
