Gladiator oil lamp,Römische Tonlampe mit Gladiatoren
Here you find a fine early Roman mould made oil lamp with voluted nozzle. On the discus we find a Roman Gladiator facing left. He is wearing a tied waistband, loincloth and on his head a crested helmet. In his right hand he carries a short sword, and in his left he holds a shield. Size; 8.8cm x 6.5cm. In good condition, intact with some wear and deposits.
