Ancient Daunian shallow dish from Southern Italy. This pedestal dish is decorated with a concentric ring pattern in reddish-brown and dark brown on a buff ground. Two perforations near the rim for suspension. Spoked central medallion. Low pedestal foot. Wear on the painted surface, otherwise intact. Dates to approx the 4th century BC. Diameter: 6-5/8” inches.
