An Ancient Egyptian Faience Wedjat - Eye of Horus
Here you find a lovely Eye of Horus plaque amulet. It is intact with some surface ware and a small hairline as seen in the photo. This eye of horus is made of light green faience and dates to approx. the Late Period 664-332 BC. Measures 1.2 inches in width.

Designed to resemble the eye of a falcon, this symbol is called the Eye of Ra or Eye of Horus represents the right eye of the Egyptian Falcon God Horus. As the udjat (or utchat), it represented the sun, and was associated with the Sun God Ra (Re).

Provenance: Collected by Gustave Jéquier (1868-1946).
