RARE FOUR MILE PARROT BOWL, C. 1325AD
Here is one of the best examples of the apex in the artistic creation of the Anasazi culture. This bowl exhibits a wonderful full image of a parrot with open wings and a turned head. The background is a beautiful red-orange, the black is bold and in some places glazed and the white clear and bright.

The most sought after items of the Anasazi period are those with graphic images executed in more than two colors as this one is.

The bowl, C. 1350 AD, measures 9.5” by 4”, is re-glued from three large pieces and has a tiny piece of restoration (about the size of a lima bean) at the rear base of the neck. Some of the white, because it is so fragile, has been enhanced.

A RELEASE AND DISCLOSURE, WITH PICTURE, IS PROVIDED STATING THE CONDITION, APPROXIMATE AGE AND THAT POSSESSING IT IS NOT IN VIOLATION OF ANY FEDERAL, STATE OR LOCAL LAWS.
